Both Borden Waste-Away Service, Inc. and the City of Goshen have been asked by residents in recent weeks what the status is on the delivery of the 96-gallon trash carts to those who have requested them.
Since the announcement was made that Borden would take over Goshen’s trash collection service, more than 3,000 carts have been requested in the city.
Although there is no estimate of how long it will take the company to deliver all the requested carts, Borden staff say they are plugging away as quick as they can, in hopes of having them all delivered soon.
Residents are reminded they can order a residential trash cart free of cost if they call and request one by April 30, 2018.
If you have questions related to the service or wish to check on the status of your cart, call Borden Waste-Away at 293.5001, and dial 1 to speak with a customer service representative.
