Join the community Saturday, July 7 for the annual America’s Freedom Fest, a daylong celebration featuring an airshow and fireworks display. The event will take place at the Goshen Municipal Airport, 17229 CR 42,

Gates for the show open at 11 a.m. Warbirds will be on display throughout the afternoon for those interested in looking at them up close. Food trucks and booths will also be available throughout the day.

The airshow starts at 5:30 p.m. This year’s airshow will include Shockwave, the fastest truck in the world; and the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team. The fireworks Spectacular will start at 10 p.m.

Admission tickets and a full schedule are available online by going to americasfreedomfest.org. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Children under the age of 5 and veterans enter free-of-charge with military ID.

2018 marks 24 years since Goshen held its first airshow. Goshen Airport Manager Randy Sharkey said the fireworks display is one of the largest fireworks displays in the Midwest.

“America’s Freedom Fest is one of the largest single day air shows in the country and I am proud to say that Goshen is the host airport for this family friendly event!” Sharkey said.
