CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY

All City of Goshen offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25, in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Trash collection services will be normal on Christmas Eve, off on Christmas Day and delayed by a day afterward.

STREET COMMISSIONER: NO MORE LEAF PICKUPS THIS YEAR

The temperature climbed up slightly this weekend and will remain above freezing this week. With the warmer, dry weather, residents may feel tempted to rake their remaining leaves. RIVER RACE DRIVE CLOSURE EXTENDED

NIPSCO is relocating the electric utilities at River Race Drive for the River Art Development, and is needing an extra two weeks to complete the project. The closure of River Race Drive from Jefferson Street north to the east/west alley has been extended until Friday, December 21.

Kercher Road (CR 38) will be open to traffic today, but the speed limit has been changed temporarily for this winter. Goshen Parks & Recreation Department reaches $50,000 fundraiser goal, seeks to go beyond

Thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organizations invested in the community, the Goshen Parks & Recreation Department has reached its goal of raising $50,000 for the construction of the city’s first-ever all-inclusive playground.
