The Goshen Street Department will be paving S. 10th Street from College Avenue to New York Street. The road will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers to help with traffic flow.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is doing maintenance on the Elkhart River bridge at Pike Street (US 33). Traffic is restricted to two lanes only for the duration of the project. Work is expected to be done by November 9, 2018.

Old CR 17 will be closed between Bashor Road and Shirley Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 19, Thursday, Sept. 20 and Friday, Sept. 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The road will be reopened after each day of construction. A private contractor will be demolishing a building on the 300 block of S. 10th Street Thursday, Sept. 20. Parking spaces in front of the property will be blocked, and the road may be temporarily blocked as well.

Repairs and painting of the upper facade of a building on the 100 block of S. Main Street will be taking place beginning Tuesday, Sept. 18.
