South Seventh Street will be closed between Lincoln Avenue and Washington Street from Tuesday, November 6, to Friday, November 9, for water and sewer installation.

BUILDING FEES TO INCREASE IN 2019

Per City Ordinance 4899, Section 7.01, effective January 1, 2019, all fees will increase by 3 percent. Please contact the Building Department at 534.1811 or building@goshencity.com for any questions regarding the new fees.

FREE PUBLIC TRANSIT FARES ON ELECTION DAY

The Interurban Trolley, serving the City of Elkhart and the City of Goshen will provide free public transit rides throughout the day on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2018, to help residents reach several polling sites. GOSHEN CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The Goshen City Council will not meet Tuesday, November 6, due to it being Election Day. City offices will be open for regular hours. The next council meeting will be held Tuesday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers, 111 E. Jefferson St.

MAIN STREET RAILROAD CLOSURE

Update: This post has been updated to reflect a change in date for the railroad crossing closure.  The railroad crossing will be closed by Norfolk Southern on the Main Street tracks, north of Pike Street, beginning November 5, for about one week. The track closure will allow the railroad crew to rebuild the crossing.
