TRAFFIC CHANGE: HAY PARKWAY AND NORTHSTONE DRIVE

  On Monday, Oct. 8, the Goshen Board of Works voted to add all-way stop signs on all sides of the intersection. Until Monday, there were stop signs on Hay Parkway but not on Northstone Drive. The changes to the signage will be made as soon as possible.

OCTOBER COUNCIL MEETINGS

The Goshen City Council normally meets the first and third Tuesday of the month. This month, however, the council will not meet tomorrow Tuesday, Oct. 2, and instead will meet Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. A meeting is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 16 but may be canceled.

EPA in Goshen to Investigate Groundwater Contaminants Detected at the North Wellfield

In 2016, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) performed a groundwater source investigation to determine the path of flow for cis-1,2- dichloroethene identified in the North Wellfield’s finished water. PORTION OF PUBLIC PARKING LOT TO BE CLOSED

From Friday evening, Sept. 28, through early Saturday evening, Sept. 29, a portion of the City Parking Lot north to Goshen Brewing Company will be closed to the public. Only the portion within the red square will be closed off to the public, to allow a private event.

TRAIL CLOSURE: WINONA TRAIL

The Winona Trail pedestrian path will be closed at Kercher Road at times between October 1 and November 2, 2018. BRIDGE CLOSURE: INDIANA AVENUE

Elkhart County will be closing the Indiana Avenue bridge that goes over the Elkhart River on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to perform an inspection of the bridge.
