NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF DECLARATORY RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH LIPPERT/DIERDORFF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND THE ADOPTION OF DECLARATORY RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SOUTHEAST ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is given that the Goshen Redevelopment Commission adopted Resolution 13-2018 on March 13, 2018 to establish the Lippert/Dierdorff Economic Development Area (“EDA”). Maps and plats have been prepared of the proposed EDA and are available for inspection at the Goshen Redevelopment Department at 204 East Jefferson Street, Suite 6, Goshen, Indiana.
The Goshen Redevelopment Commission also adopted Declaratory Resolution 19-2018 which carves out four parcels of real estate from the Southeast Economic Development Area so that the four parcels of real estate can be included in the Lippert/Dierdorff Economic Development Area.
Written remonstrances and objections to the establishment of the Lippert/Dierdorff EDA or to the modification of the boundaries to the Southeast Economic Development Area can be filed with the Goshen Redevelopment Department at 204 East Jefferson Street, Suite 6, Goshen, Indiana 46528 until 5:00 p.m. on May 7, 2018. The Goshen Redevelopment Commission on May 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. will hold a public hearing to receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from persons interested in or affected by the designation of the Lippert/Dierdorff EDA and the proposed projects or by the modification of the boundaries to the Southeast Economic Development Area. The Commission will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed projects, and establishment of the Lippert/Dierdorff EDA and whether the modification of the boundaries to the Southeast Economic Development Area should be approved. The hearing will be held in the City Court Room/Council Chambers at the Goshen Police & Court Building, 111 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana.
