The Goshen Common Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting on March 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at which users of the Goshen Water Utility, owners of property served or to be served by the Goshen Water Utility, and other interested persons may be heard concerning an ordinance to establish a schedule of rates and charges for services of the Goshen Water Utility. The public hearing will be held in the City Court Room/Council Chambers at the Goshen Police & Court Building, 111 East Jefferson Street, Goshen, Indiana.
Ordinance 4939, which was introduced for consideration on February 6, 2018, proposes the following schedule of rates and charges to be effective upon passage of this ordinance. (Click here for the schedule of rates).
Following adoption of the rate increases, users of the service outside Goshen’s corporate boundaries may be entitled to petition the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission under I.C. 8-1.5-3-8.3 to review and adjust the rates and charges imposed on them.
